Once my gut told me to stop and my brain told me to go. My heart said nothing, it was beating too fast to give impressions. A few moments later I was sliding on the asphalt. Close but no cigar. Cycling always gave me a rough ride.

Dangerous Games

Dangerous Games

It's this little lever.  Invisible.  You love to play with it.  Everyone does.  Even the married.  It controls speed.  Levers often do.  This one is tricky.  Balance is the key.

So you're playing around with it, a lot.  Sometimes you scare but you see that, and quickly catch up.  Lever back into safe zone.

One step forward, two steps back.

This time though, it feels different.  A certain form of freedom, hard to describe.

It comes from your heart, but it is blinding you.  It makes you feel free.  Too free.  A dangerous kind.  So free you could say anything.  But... but now you're scaring and you don't see it.

Now the other is starting to question.  Minds are puzzled.

He makes a run for it.

Not for ever.
